I'M ALSO MOVING TO ANOTHER TOWN FOR UNI!!!

I really don't know what to feel right now. A part of me is excited because moving to a new town means it's a new dawn, it's new day, it's a new lifeeeeeee
And I'm feelingggggg goooooooooooood.

Lol no seriously. I'm excited because this is what I've always wanted! I want to explore. I want to travel. I don't want to get stuck in one place when God has created this beautiful gigantic earth. But on the other side, I'm also scared aaand nervous. Not gonna lie, I am the kind of person who can easily get homesick. And this is gonna be the first time I'm living on my own sooooo yeah, just wish me luck. I know I can do this.

Anyway, if you know me, you'll know that I've always wanted to take Psychology Major since forever. Sooo do I stick with that plan? The answer is nope. I had a sudden change of heart and I just decided to follow it. I hope I will not regret it. Besides, Gibbs always said that we should follow our gut, right?

So yeah, now I'm saying goodbye to Psychology, and saying hello to International Relations!

Why IR?
Well it's not like I was not interested in IR before. IR has always been my second choice after Psychology, but I just thought that I was not good enough. IR requires a LOT of memorizing and I just felt like I would not be able to handle that. I'm not saying that Psychology is easy, because it's not, but Psychology has been more of a comfort zone for me since I was raised by a psychologist that I call mom. But now I realized, why should I be afraid of my own thoughts? Difficulty should challenge me, not defeat me, right?

Another reason is that I want to give a direct contribution in making this world peaceful. You know, I've been watching a lot of news lately and it just saddens me that there are a lot of wars going on right now. To me, it's not only a matter of religion or annexation issue. People could care less about that. But people should realize that it's a matter of humanity. Innocent children are dying and this just bothers me a lot. People have been saying "where the hell is United Nations?", but saying that will not fix the problem, will it? So yeah, I hope by majoring in IR, someday I can work in UN and do real actions instead of just complaining.

Can Michael Weatherly just please quit NCIS?!

I love Michael so much and his character, Tony, is now the only reason that I'm watching NCIS. But watching him without Ziva just tortures me to the core. And if Tony is still there, there is always a possibility that he will be paired up with another woman. And I'm just not okay with this fact. I just can't. So yeah, if he quits NCIS, I can also quit watching. They can make him leave to Israel to marry Ziva or whatever. I don't care.

I will always have the old episodes though.

But anyway, I'm going to uni soon so I probably won't have any time watching anything.

My Views on Love

Hi guys! So I just got back from watching The Fault in Our Stars and while I found it enjoyable, it did not exactly move me and I shed no tear. This actually left me wonder why because usually I'm the kind of person who can easily cry over anything. Hell I even cried when the Singapore airport officials  took my peanut butter because they considered it as liquid. I cried when I accidentally erased some pictures on my camera. But why not on this? Why not on a movie where half of the people on the theatres were crying? Am I loosing my sense of compassion?

Well I guess the answer is because I do not really believe in love at first sight, and this movie pretty much portrays that as its major theme. While there are other major plots like battling with cancer and what not, the romance still dominates the movie. Don't get me wrong, I am totally cool with romance but I would not necessarily ship two underage teenagers who are extremely attracted to each other from the first day who later hanging out in the foreign streets of Amsterdam without any supervision while also being extremely sick......

Okay. Enough with my comments about the movie before someone starts throwing things at me. =)

This movie just got me thinking about my views on love and I'd like to share some of them. And what I mean by love is husband and wife, boyfriend and girlfriend kind of love. Not like the parents and kids kind of love, because I could make a whole new essay about that.
Remember tho, I'm not a love expertise. Not at all. I barely even have any experience on this field sooooo if my opinion is different with yours, then take a chill pill!

Back to the love at first sight thing. I'm not being negativistic (or maybe I am) but to me, love is something that is much deeper than that. It is possible for you to feel some sort of connections with certain people when you meet them, but can we label it as love? Now people have been telling me that love is beyond physical attraction. But what makes you attracted to someone at the first place? I'm sure 99% of the time it's physical appearance right? I have not yet found a person who is attracted to someone new because "he/she seems so nice", because it is impossible except maybe you're a psychic. And while physical attraction is completely normal (God knows how many times I have experienced this), I refuse to believe that love has taken over in this stage. It's this little thing called lust. And lust does lead to love sometimes, but the odds are very little because A. Most of the time it is one sided and B. Once you get to know the person better, he/she may not be the kind of person that you expected.

So what do I believe? I believe that true love started with friendship. I believe that by being friends, two people will get to know each other without being pretentious. Maybe friendship will not be as binding  as boyfriend-girlfriend relationship, and it's gonna suck when the person that you care about has another love interest but hey, if it's true love then it will not go anywhere. Love cannot be rushed. And I was not saying that you cannot have a relationship, but when you do, make sure that you know what kind of person that you date. I'm just kind of sick and tired of people that are having relationships just to follow the trend. Call me old fashioned but I can never accept love as a trend.

I also found the term friendzone ridiculous because you will never know what will happen in your future. Maybe "friendzoning" someone will only prevent you in finding the love of your life. I don't know about you but I think friendship-based relationships would last longer. Who does not want to grow old with someone that cares about you the most? After all, the only possible way to stay faithful to your partner once the lust is gone is because you care about him/her, right?

That's why I adore Tony and Ziva, or Ron and Hermione, or Pete and Myka kind of romance. Tony and Ziva have known each other for 7 freakin' years before they took their relationship to another level. They've gone through pretty much everything together as co-workers and best friends; happiness, pain and show each other's good and bad side. Since Tony met Ziva, he had two serious girlfriends; Jeanne (even though it's an undercover op, but Tony did like Jeanne) and EJ. While Ziva dated Rivkin, Ray and had a brief romance with Adam. But in the end, they knew that they had each other's back. Even though Ziva ended up leaving, her departure affected Tony in a way that no other did. Why? Because Ziva is not only Tony's love interest. She's not only another chick that Tony wanted to sleep with. She's his best friend. THAT to me, is a true love.

I know they are fictional characters but so are Hazel Grace and Augustus Waters, right?

Pretty Much Everything That Pops To My Mind

Hi guys!!! It's been kinda long, is it? Well forgive me because at the moment, my life is just sooo hectic. Many things are happening at the same time and I kinda force myself to be more independent than ever but it's alright I guess. I mean I'm 18 and I'm going to college soon so I know I should start to take up my own responsibilities and stop blaming other people for things that happened to me. But I do wish that after all of these, I will be rewarded by something great. Like accepted at my targeted uni, perhaps?

Anyway, I'm happy that American Idol is on again!!! At least American Idol gives me something to look forward to every week. Judge me, but AI is still my favorite reality singing competition show.  I don't get how many people are preferring The Voice over AI. I tried to like The Voice, and for a second I did because the third season was pretty good, but the other seasons are just meh. I did have my favorites, like in season 5 I loved Jacquie Lee and she ended up as the runner up, but the show as a whole just did not grab my attention. I feel like the show is more about the judges than the contestants. The judges also ALWAYS praise the contestants and never give them constructive criticisms. I mean what's the point?! Sure Adam Levine is always hot and Blake Shelton is pretty funny, but if someone paid me to be a judge/coach I would be super critical instead of just giving comments like "you're always good", "you're gonna be big", "you never disappoint", and all those bullcrap every week. Look at the way Harry Connick Jr. gives specific criticisms to AI contestants. Even the sweet JLo has improved a lot in judging. It's pretty ironic, because no one from The Voice gets really famous, except maybe Cassadee Pope? No wonder though, sure Cassadee is pretty and talented, but she also already had a big fanbase since the beginning. The fact that The Voice runs twice a year is also a bit too much for me. They really should start taking care of the contestants and their post-show career instead of being too busy with the show and too caught up in ratings.

Okay, I should really stop ranting about The Voice. On a much more positive note, I love love loveeee 3 contestants from this season of AI. It's a sure thing that Season 13 is not the "best season ever" but at least I can see some of the contestants being famous. Those 3 contestants are Caleb Johnson, Caleb Johnson and Caleb Johnson Jena Irene and Alex Preston. I used to love Sam Woolf with all my heart but I agree that he lacks stage presence and very predictable. I still think that Sam can get famous someday, but he needs some time to mature. On the other side, Caleb, Jena and Alex are ready.

I love Caleb so much because he has tons of personality and never boring. He knows who he is as an artist, and even though he is a rocker, he is brave to take risks in singing non-rock songs and change them up. My favorite performance of him to date is no doubt, Skyfall. I honestly don't really like this song but when he sings it I was like "ooooh so that is how that song is supposed to sound like!". I searched him up on YouTube and I found his original song called Down To The River and the song has become my friend in my late night studying sessions since then.

Even though a rocker rarely wins, but I really do hope that he does so he can bring back rock and roll again to this era.

I also love Jena Irene because her voice is soo strong yet it is easily identified. Just like many people said, it's like the mixture of Katy Perry and Hayley Williams. My favorite performance of her is hands down, Decode. Decode is is one of the hardest songs to sing and she killed it. Even though she is into EDM, I feel like her voice suits rock songs very well. I hope she and Caleb sing together soon (and hopefully they will end up as the top 2???). It's crazy to think that Jena was a wildcard at the first place. I definitely think she is the black horse of this season. Her original song is pretty awesum too.


Lastly, Alex Preston. I love Alex because he is the definition of true artist. He is soo comfortable on stage and he never tries to be something he's not. His voice soothes me and I can listen to it anytime. His sound is so radio friendly. Fairy Tales, his original song, is arguably one of the most perfectly written songs by an Idol contestant. It gives me chills and it makes me happy.

I always come back to YouTube and listen to this song everytime I'm in difficult situations because it gives me hopes in a very strange way. I also love the fact that he once opened for Nina Nesbitt because Nina is also one of my favorite artists at the moment. I have no worries for Alex though, because I believe that he will keep producing musics whether he wins AI or not.

Other than Caleb, Jena, and Alex, I also love Jess Meuse. I think she still struggles with inconsistencies, but I still think she is interesting. She also replied me on twitter which is pretty cool. :)

Oh! I almost forgot to tell you that I found a new passion which is video editing! I found this new passion from my last holiday. Seriously though, holidays always make me productive! I mostly edit fanvids of my ship from NCIS LA, which is Densi, because it's harder for me to make a Tiva fanvid since they lasted for 8 seasons and I had to download all of their scenes from YouTube. Densi has only existed for 4 seasons so the process is much faster for me. I've uploaded 2 fanvids to YouTube already and the feedback has been great. I'm so happy that one of my videos has reached almost 7,000 views! But I honestly think that my editing is still suck-ish and I need to learn a lot (I'm really planning to master Sony Vegas instead of using iMovie) but I guess I have to concentrate on school first right now.

Last thing, I'M SO EXCITED FOR PHILLIP'S SOPHOMORE ALBUM. It will be released on May 19th and the title is "Behind The Light". Raging Fire, the lead single, is awesome and I'm sooo looking forward to hear the other songs. I'M SO EXCITED! I'm also so excited to watch Taylor Swift's concert in June! It was so hard to get the tickets but I hope it's gonna be worth it. WOOHOO! FINALLY, THINGS TO LOOK FORWARD TO!

Past, Present, and Future

Hi guys!!! So in this post I'm gonna write a little review on NCIS' emotional and heartbreaking episode titled Past, Present, and Future (S11E02).

So this episode is basically about trying to find some random terrorist named Parsa who has been attacking my babies and Gibbs badass-ly shot a bad guy named Mendez and then there is Fornell who people taught was Gibbs' target which is weird and it turns out that that he's not bla bla bla...

LIKE I CARE

The only thing that that people (or at least me) gave a damn about in this episode was TIVA.
Yes, because this episode is marked as Ziva's farewell episode (except if miracle happens one day and I'll wake up to the news that Cote de Pablo's coming back. PLEASE LET THIS HAPPENS) and people are dying to see the resolution that the writers give to the 8 years (8 YEARS, PEOPLE, 8 YEARS) of sexual tension between Tony and Ziva. Do they give Ziva a goodbye she deserves? Well, here's my opinion.

On the other side of the world, which is Israel, Tony is trying to track down Ziva who has been MIA. He met Ziva's old friend named Deena who turns out to be Ari's girlfriend before Ari was dead, shot by Ziva. Long story short, Tony found Ziva who is in emotional state because she hates the fact that she is now basically a killer (even though it's a part of her job) and it makes her sad that maybe, for every person that she killed, there are people who are crying over that person. She also told Tony that what she is now is not someone that she wanted to be. She decided to let go of her batch. Well, actually it's a lot more complicated than that but I'm too lazy to give out details lol. Tony failed to convince Ziva to go back to DC so they shared a long passionate goodbye kiss at the airport and yeah, 8 years of Tiva has ended right there!

Okay, first of all I loved the kiss. I loved how after the first long kiss, Tony gave her another one short kiss, as if he's not willing to stop. I loved how Ziva kept closing her eyes, as if she did not want Tony to stop. Little yet significant details. Second of all,  under any circumstances, Ziva David wanting a goodbye with NCIS is just too out of character. NCIS is basically her family. I remember clearly at the end of Season 10 she defined NCIS as "this is not about my job, this is about my family!", and now in second episode of Season 11 she wanted a goodbye? Okay NCIS, please stop with the inconsistencies or..... you'll start to be like Glee.

All complains aside, this is actually a very good episode. Maybe it is just me who is still in denial stage. Maybe no matter how good the episode is, it will still just makes me mad and complain about things. To be honest I can't deny that I'm a bit mad with Cote de Pablo for not continuing her contract. But it's her decision and I should respect that. I love Cote so much anyway and I know I'm gonna truly, deeply miss her.

Anthony DiNozzo is the Love of My Life

Do you know how it feels like to find a soulmate? It's supposed to be awesome, right? Well, except if your soulmate is a fictional character.

Hi guys!!! Sooo holiday is coming and I think it's time for some NCIS marathon!!! Seriously, this show is everything. The characters are so damn relatable and I love them with all my heart. They are like my babies. But if I had to choose one, it had to be The Very Special Agent Anthony DiNozzo. Gosh, my love for him is just unmeasurable. The last time I was this crazy for a fictional character was for Ron Weasley. Now I think Tony has been included to my list of "Favorites Fictional Characters of All Time" alongside Ron and Lupin.

Why do I love Tony that much?
Okay, I know some people find Tony childish, annoying and maybe sometimes stupid (which is totally ridiculous, how can an NCIS senior agent be stupid?). I admit it, sometimes Tony does not take things seriously. But time after time, he has proven that he is a very capable agent. He has his own ways though and just like Gibbs said, "you may not admire his methods, but you gotta love the results". Now imagine, what would NCIS be without Anthony DiNozzo? He is basically the glue of the team. He is the one that keeping things together. He is the class clown, without him everything will be so damn boring. Especially with Ziva and Gibbs who have the tendency to be high tempered and McGee who is basically a plain computer geek. I'm sorry, like I said before I love all of them so much but Tony is the one that makes the show interesting. And even though he is all goofy and bubbly on the outside does not mean he is always like that inside. Tony has been through a lot. He lost his mom when he was little, his love life sucks and his relationship with his father is not really good. And yet he still managed to make people smile. I can relate to this so much. I mean, people always see me as this optimistic girl but well, only God knows what I think and feel inside lol. Now everytime I get sad, I think to myself "what would Anthony DiNozzo do?" and trust me, it helps a lot. See? If Tony was a real person he would totally be my soulmate.

ANYWAY, it just saddens me that until now he has not found the one. I know deep inside he loves and cares about Ziva. And I said this not only because I'm a huge Tiva shipper. It is just shown through his actions and..... eyes. When Tony is with Ziva, he is willing to show his sensitive sides. He is willing to break down his walls. I know Ziva also feels the same way about Tony but idk for some weird reasons she keeps sleeping with some other guys, and it sucks. I mean, Ziva is very smart but she is not smart when it comes to love.  Look at her exes; Rivkin, Ray, and this Adam guy is not too convincing either. But please Gary Glasberg aka the producer of NCIS, please let Tony find the one ASAP. Ziva or not, it doesn't really mater. Of course it MATTERS  to me, but whatever. Tony deserves to be happy. And if you want to make me happy too , please let Tiva happen. GOSH I'M SO EXCITED FOR SEASON 11!!!

The Best American idol Performances of All Time

So this is it! Season 12 of American Idol has ended and the winner is... CANDICE GLOVER!!!

Honestly I didn't really care about the result lol. The top 3 are my favorites from the entire season so whoever takes the title is okay with me. Well, in the end I was actually a little bit more into Kree, but either way, Candice is awesome and she deserves it as much.

SOOOO, to celebrate the end of Season 12, I'm gonna make a top ten list of The Best American Idol Performances of All Time (according to me)!

1. Kelly Clarkson - Natural Woman

After 12 seasons, for me this performance is still unbeatable. Even though there were so many Idol contestants that tried to sing this song after her, no one compares. That whistle register is crrrrazy. Only the one and only Queen Kelly can do that.

2. David Cook - Billie Jean

This performance is craycray. He rearranged this song to fit his voice and it worked sooo well. His tone is perfect as always. A true artist, there.

3. Haley Reinhart - Benny and the Jets

Just like Steven Tyler said, "YOU SING SEXY". This performance was like a turning point for Haley in the competition. She succeeded to make me LOOVE her by this. Honestly, I was barely noticing her before Benny and the Jets. Lol.

4. Phillip Phillips - Volcano

This performance was breathtaking. The rasp in his voice, the guitar, the backup singer, the lyrics of this song. What can I say? It's just so perfect that it made me cry. Almost every performance of Phillip has a place in my heart, but Volcano? It is fucking special.

5. Adam Lambert - Whole Lotta Love

I HAD A HARD TIME CHOOSING MY FAVORITE ADAM PERFORMANCE CAUSE EVERY SINGLE ONE IS FUCKING BRILLIANT. Well, to me Adam is a rock god and his voice soars best when he sings classic rock songs. I know that everyone was obsessing over his Mad World performance (the only performance that Simon Cowell gave standing ovation to on Idol). But idk, I prefer Whole Lotta Love, Crying, Track of My Tears, A Change is Gonna Come, Feeling Good, etc... Mad World was just not my favorite.

6. Kris Allen - Heartless

Kris Allen (aka Adam Lambert's baby) sang the hell outa this song. Randy was right, this version is better than the original and for me personally, better than The Fray's.  I downloaded the studio version of this song and listen to it until now. I think this performance is the one that made him the winner of season 8.

7. Blake Lewis - You Give Love a Bad Name

Blake Lewis' beatbox never fails. And even though this song is a classic and Blake's voice is more current, he managed to work it out by putting his own spin to it. And it turned out super amazing!!! Blake is super awesome and I think he should have won season 7. Well, but Jordin was awesome too for her age.

8. Angie Miller - You Set Me Free

Angie was taking a big risk for singing an original song with piano in Hollywood Week. But guess what? It paid off. This song is awesome, and it sounds like it's written by a professional. Just like the judges, I'm blown away. And I'm so glad that it becomes Angie's first single because people need to know about this song.

9. Colton Dixon - Piano Man

First of all, LOVE the red piano. I'm so getting that for my future house. The voice of Colton when singing this may not be perfectly flawless, but there is just an emotion behind it that made it so beautiful. And I always love it when Colton plays piano. I think it's where he becomes comfortable the most and it shows.

10. Phillip Phillips - Home 

I still remember how it felt to watch this performance for the first time. Words cannot describe how proud I was. This song gave Phillip recognition he deserves. And, this song turned out to be the best-selling single by an Idol alumni and no wonder, cause that is just how it's supposed to be.

That's it! These people are just so talented and I love them with all my heart. I'm so grateful that I'm lucky enough to had the opportunity to watch Kelly, David Cook, Adam, and Haley live. I hope I'm gonna see Phillip and the rest soon! Hope yall enjoying my picks!

No, no. Don't get me wrong.  I don't want to make you feel depressed or anything. But I just love those songs that can make me feel emotional or cry at some point... I think that means the singer or the songwriter has done a great job in delivering his/her message. Even though maybe I haven't even experienced some stories in those songs, but it's just so awesome when their words are infectious. Well maybe some of them are not even that sad but they're just..... dark. But they are so good so you should check them out or you will regret it!

Well if I had to choose one song from that list, my current favourite is probably Stars. That song makes me go asdfghjkl every time. It reminds me of many people, it remind me of my pets that have passed away, it reminds me of simply anything that I have lost, it even reminds me of my celebrity crush(es) sometimes, anything really.  I first heard this song probably 3 or 4 months ago, but didn't really hook to it. Until a guy named Nick Boddington did a great job singing this song on Idol and I was like "I know that song!!!". I directly went to Youtube to re-watch his performance.

And then I downloaded the original version, paid attention to the lyrics etc. etc. and I cried in the middle of the night because of it. Lol no this sounds too dramatic. Idk, there's just something in this song that touches my heart. 

Talking about Idol, what's with the guys this season?! No offense, but compared to the last season, they suck. Well maybe some of them like Nick Boddington and Devin Vellez are good. But last season there were just sooo many talents and they are so diverse. I don't know what the heck is wrong with this season. I mean Charlie Askew is just sooo damn overrated and yet Nicki Minaj is treating him like a god. Well, I don't think this is entirely Nicki's fault though cause sometimes she's a great judge and she stands for herself but sometimes she's like so high... sometimes I'm not even sure if she is watching the same thing with me. For girls, well, maybe I'm rooting for Angela Miller. and I think it's just so stupid how they eliminated Shubha Vedula so soon, when she's definitely talented. Like they want a great singer, Shubha is a great singer. And they eliminated her?! So what the heck that they want now? A singer or a whole package artist? I don't get it. And the comment that Nicki gave Shubha was so dang disrespectful. But so far, I think a girl should really win this season.

I just... I miss season 11 when everything was so beautiful and perf. And I always got so excited for Thursdays and get freakin' nervous on Friday mornings waiting for result. THOSE TIMES ARE JUST SO GREAT. :''')

I love each and everyone of them so much asdfghjkl why can't they just reunite and perform on my TV everyday. I guess I can never moved on from season 11.

Or maybe I just can't moved on from my baby a.k.a. the winner of last season :')

But I still love Idol... I just need a new judging panel, soon. SOON. I kinda wanting the old judging panel with Paula, Simon, and Randy. Kara is alright too.

Alright, alright. I have to admit that today was not that bad. I had fun while doing english presentation and me and my best friends were like so high today so we laughed... a lot. We are high every Mondays I guess, don't know why.

HOW ARE YALL?

I know right. I know right. IT'S BEEN FOREVER. And there are so many stories that I want to tell. I have to say that late December 2012 until early January 2013 was the best time of my life. It's a long story but the point is I got to meet my idol and my inspiration, Adam Lambert. AND IT'S AWESOME, he's awesome. I met Tommy too and he's even waving at me. Things that I thought would be so impossible happened to me.
So, I'm not trying to be a motivator or anything but miracle does happen guys. YOU JUST HAVE TO BELIEVE IT :)

Beside Adam Lambert, it's not a new story that I'm also a HUGE fan of Phillip Phillips. And Kelly Clarkson too (AND I'M SO PROUD SHE GOT A GRAMMY'S! YOU GO GURL!). So I'm forever thankful for American Idol no matter how lame that show might get. It's lame but I love it haha. It's kind of a guilty pleasure, you know.

In this post, I want to make a track-by-track review of Phillip Phillips' album, The World From The Side of The Moon. I know it's kinda late because it's been released for 3 months but I just feel like writing it now. Well don't expect a super objective review cause you know....it's me, a hardcore Phillip's fan from day 1 who is talking. So just expect a little-biased-fan-perspective review, k?

1. Man on The Moon (written by Phillip Phillips)
Man on The Moon is definitely one of my favorite songs from this album. The guitar, the lyrics, the raspy voice combined make it a pure perfection. Well, especially the lyrics because they are just so poetic. I wish I could write a song this way someday. Anyway I (with a little help of Ghina) interpret this song as a guy who watches his ex-girlfriend (maybe) from the side of the moon, just wondering if she's doing okay. And he actually still cares for this girl but he wants to let her be. And I LOVEEE the idea of it. Seriously where did Phillip even get it at the first place?!

2. Home (written by Drew Pearson & Greg Holden)
You know how much I LOVE Home right? Whenever I hear this song, I still clearly remember the moment when Phillip won Idol, crying, running towards his family. TOO. MUCH. FEELS. And this song just certified for 4 million downloads and I'm so damn proud of that. Many people say it's too Mumford and Sons-ish but this song is not even written by him so WHY BLAME?! Anyway, someday when I travel abroad somewhere for college or work, I wish a handsome guy (or even Phillip himself) would personally sing this song for me. I hope it's not too much to ask.

3. Gone, Gone Gone (written by Derek Fuhrmann, Todd Clark, Wattenberg)
So you can see from my recent post, Gone Gone Gone was my favorite from the album. It's probably not anymore now, but I'm still glad that this song is chosen as 2nd single because it is fun, catchy and commercial and people LOVE it. But now I realised that the best songs from this album are the ones that are written by Phillip himself. But I'm still soooo loving the lyrics of this song I think it's the sweetest song ever like seriously you are probably crazy if you read the lyrics of this song and don't get butterflies in your stomach. Anyway if you haven't watched the video of this song, you better check it out!!!


4. Hold On (written by Phillip Phillips)
Hold On is beautiful. It may not so catchy but that's what makes it beautiful. One thing that I noticed from this album is just PP is so damn wise for his age. It is shown especially in this song and Tell Me A Story. The lyrics are so motivating. Not the cheesy kind of motivating but the beautiful one. OKAY WHAT AM I EVEN TALKING ABOUT. Lol it's hard to explain. Anyway I like to listen to this song before I sleep :)

5. Tell Me a Story (written by Phillip Phillips & David Ryan Harris)
Tell Me a Story is one of the most perfectly-written songs ever. The lyrics are hands down, the best from the album. If I had to choose between Hold On and Tell Me A Story, I think I'm gonna go with Tell Me A Story. I listen to it everytime I'm feeling a little blue. I will never get bored of this song, ever.

Most on how you lived, and learned how to die
Never fakes in this world that brings death to life
So don't believe in everything you see
Because what you want might not be what you need

6.  Get Up Get Down (written by Phillip Phillips, Wattenberg, Derek Fuhrmann)
Get Up Get Down literally makes me want to get up, get down and move my ass around. It's just so freaking groovy. I fell in love with this song since the first time I heard it. It's freaking sexy too. One of the good choices for 3rd single, I think.

"get up get down let's get lost in this merry go round and round". OH LET'S, PHILLIP.

7. Where We Came From (written by Phillip Phillips & Jon Green)
Where We Came From is the first song that I heard from this album, well after Home. And my opinion about this song stays the same. It's cool, perfectly written but still so groovy. I LOOOVE the "climb the mountain, swim for shore, bring it back to how it was before" part. This is also a good choice for 3rd single.

8. Drive Me (Written by Phillip Phillips & Ben Neil)
So, this song is written by Phillip himself and his brother in law, Ben. I love Ben. I'm forever thankful for him for introducing Phillip to guitar. And the fact that they wrote a song together is just sooo cute. And this song is just the sexiest (or should I say dirtiest?) track from the album. I didn't expect him to write this kind of song but I LOVE IT. I hope he'll make more in his 2nd album HAHA.

9. Wanted Is Love (Written by Phillip Phillips)

Honestly, Wanted Is Love is the song that I played the least from the album. I don't know why though, I still think the chorus is beautiful. And the lyrics. :)

10. Can't Go Wrong (Written by Phillip Phillips, Greg Holden and Drew Pearson)

Can't Go Wrong is the kind of song that you just want to shout after a long hard day. And the fact that Phillip sings about his hometown, Georgia, is just too sweet. It makes me want to go there and stay at Phillip's house, his bedroom specifically.

11. A Fool's Dance (Written by Phillip Phillips)

I love how dark A Fool's Dance is. There is just something so gloomy about this song but I enjoy it. And the lyrics just stab my heart. Listen to this song when you feel a bit somber, especially in the rainy day, in the car, staring at the window... Yeah you get what I mean.

12. So Easy (Written by Stephen Wrabel, Peter Amato, Pete Salis)

Just like the title, this song is easy, simple and very catchy. I really like to imagine Phillip singing this song to me because it's just so cute.

Take Me Away (Written by Phillip Phillips and Hannah Blackwell) ONLY AVAILABLE IN TARGET DELUX EDITION

Okay, let me start with this. First, I don't get why the heck this song is only in target deluxe edition when it's pretty obvious this song is just so perfect and haunting and DEFINITELY MY FAVORITE. I can't stop replaying this song. Every single word of this song captures my feelings perfectly. Every. Single. Word. My feelings for Phillip himself. Yes I want him to take me away. Yes I only see him out of thousands coming my way. Yes he's all I wanna see and all I wanna touch & feel in every way. And we can hide forever. This may sound pathetic but whatever.

So, I give this album 4.5 stars out of possible 5 stars . It's just because I simply don't give 5 stars to ANYTHING. Well maybe Breakaway by Kelly Clarkson is a 5 stars album but that's the only one. So I'm just so proud of this album. I can't believe he has come this far. :')

Terry McDermott & Jealousy (?)

Okay so it's been long since the last time I updated my blog... Well, that's because my laptop is broken. Thankfully, I still can check Youtube or browsing with my tab, dan sebenernya bisa2 ajasih blogging, tapi gue sebenernya gak suka banget ngetik pake tab because it's super ribet. BUT karena gue tiba2 pingin banget nge post jadi ya udah, leggo!!!

Jadi as you know, kemaren itu tanggal 12-12-12 tapi sumpah nothing special banget, ya gimana mau special orang ini lagi exam week.....tapi minggu depan holiday bitches!!! The only thing that made me happy yesterday was TERRY MASUK TOP 3!!! Okay I haven't told you about Terry before. HE'S MY NEW OBSESSION, K?! So, he's a contestant of The Voice US Season 3. I've always liked his voice but he never stood out for me until about two or three weeks ago (when I started to get annoyed by Cassadee because she's wayyy too overrated, like seriously I think she's good but not THAT good?!?!). And last week he's making me melt with his "I Want To Know What Love Is" rendition. HIS VOICE IS JUST..... It's so pure but it reminds me with classic rock voices at the same time??? Idk he's just...perfect. And I always thought that I only loved him for his voice but I started to get jealous.... I got jealous when Cassadee poked his nose at the end of their duet. So I think my love for him is starting to get to the personal level. And do you know what's worse than Cassadee poking his nose?! Yes, the fact that he's married and has a 5 year old son. But I love his son. He's sooo cute and their relationship is adorable. And his wife is super pretty.... Soo, I'm happy for them (I guess?). And I don't think that Terry's super handsome either but idk....there's just something about him. Plus, HAVE YOU HEARD HIS ACCENT?!?! His accent is driving me crazy okayyyy (fyi, he's originally from Scotland).

Anyway, that new Adam Lambert's interview where he kissed the interviewer just made me super jealous, okay. INTERVIEWER NYA CEWEK LOH FYI. JEALOUSY AT ITS HIGHEST LEVEL TAU. Lagian dia random banget pas ditanya something like "if you could kiss any celebrity under the mistletoe, who would it be?" Terus dia langsung kayak "Carrie.." sambil narik kursi interviewer nya terus ya jelas si Carrie nya itu gak mau menyia nyiakan kesempatan -_- LOL Adam you are sooo unexpectable and I love it about you tapi next time please nge kiss nya fans aja ya (read: me).

I wish I could post the videos of the duet and the interview but it's hard because I'm using my tab. :s

Lucu ya di album Taylor Swift ada Stay Stay Stay terus di album Phillip ada Gone, Gone, Gone HAHA what a cute coincidence (?)

I JUST MISS KRADAM SO MUCH IT HURTS. Their bromance is like the best thing that ever happened on Idol like seriously.

And I just wanted to cry so bad cause I miss them being together and they just NEED TO REUNITE. Their friendship is just too beautiful asdfghjkl I love how much they respect each other despite all their differences. I mean, Kris is a married-man, very religious and all but it doesn't make him stay away from Adam. IF ALL THE PEOPLE WERE LIKE KRIS THIS WORLD WOULD BE A BETTER PLACE.
Even though it must be pretty hard for Adam to be near Kris because it's pretty obvious that he had a crush on Kris... I mean, imagine you're being close to your crush, act totally cool about it but deep inside you know you'll never end up together with him. And he said once in an interview that he found it distracting to be paired as roomates with Kris.

And when the media questioned Adam's crush on Kris, Kris always answered it wisely. He always just laughed or he even once said (jokingly) that he has a crush on Adam too. I mean we all know it's impossible but LOOK HOW ADORABLE THEIR FRIENDSHIP IS.
Kris is just super nice, I don't get why do people are hating on him just because he won Season 8. I mean, sometimes I'm also still pretty pissed to the fact that Adam didn't win, but HATING A PERSON AS NICE AS KRIS IS JUST SO WRONG. And I don't think Adam wants his fans to hate on Kris either...so stop.

Just Another Random Post

So yeah, I've warned ya. This post is gonna be totally random.

Hi guys! It's been like 2 weeks since my last post? Or even more? Well, it's because lately I've been busier than ever. Like seriously tests and assignments are killing me. Ah, I don't wanna talk about those things right now-_-

I'm gonna talk about some interesting things (for me) instead!

The first thing, Phillip Phillips's album is gonna be released in like a week!!!! I'm so excited and proud and now I just wanna cry and explode. I CAN'T BELIEVE THE DAY IS COMING. I've been following this guy since his first audition! So now seeing him releasing album and all is just... too much for me to handle. I've been listening to some previews of the album and damn it's awesome. Like truly awesome. I'm glad he doesn't go mainstream and stays true to himself. There is this one song in the album called Where We Came From and I think it's super cool, you guys should check it out!!! The lyrics are perfectly written. Maybe you don't get it at first but later on you'll make your own interpretation to it. THAT'S HOW LYRICAL GENIUS PP IS.

The second thing, about one week or 2 weeks ago, there's this song from Adam Lambert that didn't make the cut to Trespassing album leaking all over the internet. The name of the song is Hold On and I honestly don't get why this song didn't make the cut! Cause it's truly trulyyyyy an awesome song. I kinda felt guilty listening to this at first because this song is never legally released, but Adam found out that this song is leaked and he tweeted telling that we should just enjoy it instead. So I don't feel guilty anymore!

Anyway, I think that DNA song from Little Mix is awesome. I don't think that perfect kind of guy exists in real life though. So for me, this song is more about being obsessed to a celebrity crush? Well at least for me it is. But apparently I'm not the only one who thinks so. Because I found this amazing fan-video of Adam on Youtube and the background song is DNA.

7D Dried Mangoes and Royce Chocolate!!! These foods taste like heaven to me. I know I like almost all kind of foods but these foods are certainly from different level. Too bad the 7D Dried Mangoes is not even sold in Indonesia, so I have to wait for my aunt to bring it from Singapore. For the Royce Chocolate...it is sold in Indonesia, but it's freaking expensive. So yeah, once again this world is being cruel to me.

I'm So Excited and I Just Can't Hide It

First of all, yes the title of the post comes from an 80's song by the Pointer Sisters. AND YES, I chose that as the title because right now I'm super happy!!!

So, I just had a really wonderful Saturday night... NOT with my boyfriend (cause my boyfriend is so far away in US *cough* Phillip Phillips) or friends but with my family. I know it sounds lame but it's not. It's weird right, I'm freaking 16 but I still enjoy hanging out with fam. Is it even normal? Maybe it's not, but who wants to be normal anyway?

We went to Cilandak Town Square and I bought (actually, my dad bought me) these really cool stuffs. Guess what are they?

1. Glam Nation Live CD/DVD

I know right. I know right. I KNOW RIGHT. I BOUGHT ADAM FREAKING LAMBERT'S GLAM NATION LIVE CD/DVD. So now I'm able to watch his sexiness ANYTIME I WANT. This thing is super rare in Indonesia so I was reallyyyy surprised when I found it at the music store. And it's the only one left!!! The name of the music store is Beatz! and I think that store is really awesome. It sold rare things so if you are looking for any CD or concert DVD or whatever, I recommend you to go there!
It takes a lot of considerations for me to ask my dad to buy me this thing though. Cause you know, it's Adam Lambert, the controversial guy. But I know if I didn't buy it, I would regret it for life. So I was just like "I want to buy this, dad" and I gave it to the cashier and I don't think he was really aware of what I chose so he was just like "ok". Then my mom asked me "what did you buy?" and I was like "Adam Lambert's DVD, since I won't be able to watch him in Bali" and she's like "oh.". Besides, now I'm on my way of turning my mom  into a Glambert though. And now she's shouting "whataya want from me!!!" every once in a while so I guess it's a good sign? Idk JUST WISH ME LUCK.


2. Secrets of Macarons

This book is all about my current favorite thing...macarons! I just love macarons so much, too bad it's kinda expensive for a little cookie like that. So I'm planning to learn how to make one myself! For those of you who haven't tried macarons, well you should! But I only recommend it for you guys who have sweet tooth cause trust me, it's really sweet.
I really like the store where this book is sold. Idk, there's just something about the atmosphere. It's really peaceful and they played this cool indie music. If I'm not mistaken the name is Aksara. Oh! And one of the cashiers at the store is SUPER cute. So I'm really looking forward to go back to this store HAHA.

Without Love

SOOOO GUYS! A few days ago, I watched this musical movie called Hairspray. Yes this is the movie that starred Zac Efron as one of the casts. This is a 2007 movie......so I know I'm super late watching this in 2012. And now I think I'm obsessed with the soundtrack. Especially this one cute song titled Without Love.

It's sooo cute right. I really love how in the end the famous guy falls for the fat girl. Also, the love story between the black guy & white girl (Seaweed & Penny) is super sweet too. Zac Efron is so funny in this. It makes me kinda love him more. I know he looks super geeky with that hairstyle...but he's still cute. Oh! And I think Amanda Bynes' voice is really sweet. I didn't know she can sing, but yes she can.

Watching this movie makes me want to see the Broadway production of Hairspray Musical. I'm sure it will be even more fun to hear the song performed live and all! I know the casts are different, but it doesn't matter. Well, I think I should add that to the list of things I should do in life! :D

Life of a Glambert

Before I start, for those of you who don't know, a Glambert is what an Adam Lambert's fan is called. I guess the name comes from glam and Lambert. Why glam? Well, because Adam is our Glam God. Glamberts and Adam have one big family that we called as Glamily. The genre of Adam Lambert's songs are Glam rock. And when Adam dressed up as a vampire we called him a Glampire. So yeah it's all about glam.

Well if my definitions are not understandable, this is one from Urban Dictionary:

GLAMBERT
	The official term for a devoted fan of the glamourous sexiness that is Adam Lambert, Season 8 Runner Up for American Idol.

I have become a Glambert for a very long time. But I started to have this deep connection with Adam a few months ago, precisely the first time I heard some songs from his 2nd album, Trespassing. I don't know why, but these songs are like magic to me. They always make me feel happier when I'm down. I know this sounds ridiculous but that's the truth lol. I started looking for his interviews on Youtube and I realized that he's not only talented and good looking but he's also a very beautiful human being. No matter how tired he is or how annoying the interviewer is, he always answers the questions nicely and honestly. With him, there is NO awkward or bad interviews. By these interviews, I learned more things about him. I also watched his life documentaries, live performances (my favorites were the ones when he sang with Queen, which is pretty legendary), and I can't help to fall deeper and deeper with him. At first I keep my adoration towards him by myself but what's the point of being a Glambert if you're afraid to express yourself? So I started to tell my close friends about it.

But as glamorous as it is, I realized that being a Glambert is not always easy. It's hard at times. I  have to deal with ignorant people talking REAL BAD about him only because of his sexual orientation. What hurts me the most is not the mockery, but knowing that Adam is a very nice person and he doesn't deserve that at all. I mean, I cannot force anyone to support equality, but there's SO MUCH MORE to Adam Lambert than just who he chooses to sleep with. It's okay if you want to judge Adam. Judge his music, judge his style. Judge him as a singer NOT as the "gay guy" . His personal life is none of your business, none of OUR business. I swear that those people who talked trashy things about him don't even know him well. Have they ever seen his "It Gets Better" video or read the lyrics of his song, Aftermath? NO.
Whatever. Just like Adam said, I should only pay attention to the positives. :')

But seriously, my sorrow doesn't only stop here. Now I have to deal with another problem of being a Glambert. This time is because of my financial condition. So, last Saturday I got a news telling that Adam will visit Indonesia this December and he will perform exactly on New Year's Eve. I WAS SO HAPPY until I found out that he won't come to Jakarta, but to Bali. At that point I was still optimistic. "I can afford to go to Bali with my savings", I tell myself. BUT THEN I found out that the ticket prices are so crazy. The cheapest one is $538. This is so crazy. I'm just a regular student and I surely cannot afford that. I wanted to cry so bad. I just don't like it when I want something so bad but I can't afford to get it. I know I can't always get what I want but I know I deserve to watch Adam.

Now all I can do is just to pray for some miracles and stare at the picture above every once in a while :(

Wow this post is longer than I intended it to be. And I poured a LOT of emotions, I'm telling you. Anyway, no matter how hard being a Glambert is, I will always stand by Adam and support him till the very end. Haters will hate, if they cannot see the good in Adam, it's their loss! :D

Jadi kemaren itu SERU BANGET. Dari pagi sampe malem bener bener seru.
Jadi kan paginya gue ke rumah Rahma ngerjain tugas BI yaitu shooting berita. Ini tugas kelompok, di kelompok gue ada Rahma, Erik & Arso. Abis ngerjain tugas sambil nunggu Arso di jemput kita malah nge gossip2 gitu dan itu seru BANGET. Baru tau ternyata cowok juga punya dendam dendam batin tersendiri HAHA. Terus pulang dari rumah Rahma gak lama gue siap siap buat acara di sekolah gue :D

Acaranya kereeeen, pokoknya selamat ya kakak-kakak kelas 12 kalian sukses! Pokoknya the best part of the night itu pas Petra perform. Gilaa baru tau Petra itu ganteng. Ya emang ganteng sih tapi kalo di TV gantengnya gak lebay kayak kalo ngeliat live! Sebenernya gue gak terlalu tau lagu lagu original Petra tapi dia juga nyanyiin Payphone, The One That Got Away sama Fix You. Pas Fix You itu very very something. Pokoknyaaaa last night itu indah banget! Kalo bisa ngulang sih gue mau!!! Tadinya gue mau nunggu Maliq & D'Essentials perform tapi mereka lama bangetttt keluarnya, gue keburu dijemput. Abis di jemput gue dinner dulu sama keluarga gue :')

Aduh sementara hari ini gue harus belajar Sociology & nyari video buat tugas english T_T Doakan gue ya kawan kawan supaya besok sukses ngerjain unit test socio nya. UT socio itu serem karena we never know gurunya nge expect jawaban apa dari kita-_- KENAPA BESOK UDAH SENIN?!

OMG I MISS YOU BLOGGIE. THE LAST TIME I POSTED WAS LIKE IN 2010. 2 YEARS AGO. 2 FREAKIN' YEARS. THINGS HAVE CHANGED SOOOO MUCH. BANYAK BANGET HAL HAL UNIK YANG UDAH GUE LALUIN. SEKARANG GUE NYESEL KENAPA GUE NELANTARIN LO BLOGGIE. AAAAH BENER BENER KANGEN.

Okay I should stop writing in caps lock.

 Jadi seperti yang gue bilang, udah banyak perubahan banget. Sekarang gue udah bukan anak SMP lagi, gue udah SMA. Bahkan kelas 11! Ya, jadi gue masuk SMA Binus Serpong. Walaupun sekolah ini SERINGGGGG banget bikin gue stress sampe rasanya pingin head bang, tapi ya harus gue akuin kalo di sekolah ini banyak kejadian yang super memorable, super touching, super bikin ngakak, super bikin gitulah. 

Jadi dulu pas kelas 10 gue masuk kelas 10F. Gue kangen banget sama ini kelas :''') Awalnya sih iya emang gue gak betah karena anak anaknya too dramatic gitudeh menurut gue (oops :P). Tapi as the time goes by ternyata enggak kok. Wali kelas kita namanya Mr. Shreedhar, dia orang India. Awalnya gue rada gimanaa gitu punya wali kelas orang India. Tapi dia ternyata orangnya care banget kok. Bahkan beberapa temen gue aja suka curhat sama dia tentang love life sampe nangis nangis HAHA. Tapi kita gak selalu galau gitulah, malah menurut guru guru kelas kita paling sering ketawa. Sampe sampe sama Ms. Wel dibilang Smurfy Class. Kejadian di kelas 10... Banyak banget. Kalo gue ketik semua jari gue bisa bisa keriting-_- Pokoknya intinya 10F is irreplaceable!

 Dan gue naik ke kelas 11. Gue masuk kelas 11B sama 2 temen deket gue Nova & Ghina :') Di kelas 11B, isinya ada 2 jurusan; ICT Sociology dan ICT Art & Design. Gue sih pastinya jurusan ICT Sociology ya. Orang art skill gue tuh....0 besar. Ha ha ha. Jadi gue udah gak ketemu musuh musuh terbesar gue kayak chemistry & physics lagi. Anak anak di kelas 11B ada yang kalo ngomong aja udah bikin ngakak, ada yang diem diem misterius, ada yang suka ketawa2 sendiri, ada yang suka pamer ilmu, banyak deh. Kelas ini jelas gak seheboh dan se-smurfy 10F.....dan gue akuin gue emang belom bisa 100% nyaman di kelas ini. Mungkin karena baru kayak 3 bulan. Tapi pastinya udah ada beberapa kejadian yang bikin gue ngakak, stress dan ngasih tampang "wtf". Hahaha, dan di kelas 11 gue dapet pelajaran baru namanya Business Studies! Dan harus tau, gurunya tuh bikin kita ngantuk like nobody else. Kayak dia baru mulai ngomong aja rasanya gue langsung pingin merem (gak selebay itu juga sih-_-).

But no worries, I'm still the same me!!! Rambut gue masih panjang rata gitu, gue masih suka Harry Potter, masih suka Glee, masih suka Kelly Clarkson. Tapi ya jelas ada new things/new people yang gue currently obsessed with dong. Gue bikin list nya aja ya.
